LES FEMMES DE SERGE
Friday, February 8, 2019
The Mexican quintet formed since 2011 has many video productions and an album called "C'est la vie". Initially recognized by bringing life to the "Chanson françoise" starting at 1940 (Edith Piaf, Boris Vien, Serge Gainsbourg, etc.), Les Femmes de Serge quickly established themselves in the musical scene in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Their live shows develop an unique bond with the audience due to the interaction between music and perfomance, led by the two principal singers. The group features a fresh take on French music classics and some songs of their own.
To this day, they are currently working in expanding their repertoire and composing new songs for a possible second album that may represent the collective work of the five musicians and artists that conform the group. Les Femmes de Serge are: Mari Carmen Camarena, Yanin Saavedra, Sofía Ramírez, Gilberto Rios and Darko Palacios
